Hi! My name is Tiru and I am the founder of Newlok. While I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from IIT Madras, my interests have never been confined to a single discipline. Over the years, my most fulfilling moments have been when I understood some concept deeply while following my natural curiosity.
I spent a decade as an early employee at a tech startup, helping build it from the ground up into a unicorn. It was an incredible journey, but I eventually realized that I also wanted to grow in other areas – asking deep questions about life, and following my natural interests.
I started Newlok because I saw a profound need for a space dedicated to pure intellectual exploration. A place to gather, cultivate deep taste, and thrive with the energy of unabashed curiosity. Newlok is the expression of my belief that while formal schooling ends, the pursuit of learning is a lifelong adventure.
